Plain-language version. Your saves are yours.
Waygoly is committed to your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the control you have.
Your email address, your account preferences, and the things you choose to save (places, recipes, products, notes, and collections). If you add screenshots or photos, we process them to read out what’s worth saving, then store them in your private storage.
Only to run the Waygoly service — saving, organizing, and helping you rediscover what you saved. We track anonymized usage events (which features are used, basic performance) to improve the app. We do not sell your data, and we do not show you third-party ads.
Images you upload are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to extract the details, and are stored in your private storage so only you can see them. They are not used to train AI models, are not put into analytics, and are never shared or sold. You can delete any upload from your account, and deleting your account erases them.
Everything you save is private by default. When you create a share card or a public recap, you are generating a link that anyone with the link can open — it shows only the safe details you chose to share (never your email, account, or private notes). You control whether your name appears on shared links in Settings.
We use Firebase (Google) for sign-in and storage, OpenAI for AI extraction, Resend for email, and Stripe for payments (when enabled). Each has its own privacy policy.
You can edit or delete any save at any time. In Settings → Your data you can export everything you’ve saved as a file, or permanently delete your account and all of its data yourself. Questions? Email privacy@waygoly.com.
